By utilizing the services provided by COLLIN COUNTY SIGNING SERVICES (CCSS) | COLLIN COUNTY SIGNING SERVICES (CCSS) ("COLLIN COUNTY SIGNING SERVICES” AKA “CCSS" AKA “CCSS NATIONAL MOBILE NOTARY & APOSTILLE SERVICES”), you agree to the following terms:

Hold Harmless and Indemnity Agreement: You agree to hold CCSS harmless and indemnify the business against any claims, losses, or damages arising from the notarization, apostille, or any other services provided by CCSS, including but not limited to errors or omissions, rejection of documents, cancellations, or failed appointments.
Limitation of Liability: In no event shall CCSS or its representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of our services, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or other legal theory.
No Guarantees or Warranties: While we strive to provide accurate and efficient services, we do not guarantee the legal validity of documents submitted, nor do we guarantee specific outcomes, as certain processes are beyond our direct control.
No Refunds: All sales and services provided by CCSS are final and non-refundable. This includes fees for Apostille services and any related shipping or translation services, which are also non-refundable and non-transferable, even in cases where an Apostille is rejected. Refunds will not be provided under any circumstances unless required by law. In extremely rare and exceptional cases, a refund may be issued at the sole and absolute discretion of CCSS management. If such a refund is issued, a processing charge of $50.00 will be applied, and any expenses already incurred by CCSS on behalf of the customer, such as shipping, processing, third-party fees, or additional handling and processing fees for rejected Apostilles, will be deducted from the refund amount.
By utilizing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this Disclaimer, Hold Harmless, and Indemnity Agreement.

Payment Policy: Payment is required in advance for all appointments to ensure top-notch service. CCSS guarantees the quality of our notarization work. In the unlikely event of a notary error, such as missing stamps, signatures, or required verbiage, we will correct the document at no extra charge.
Credit Cards and ACH Payments: A 4% fee is added to all credit card transactions.
AfterPay: Available upon request with a 7% fee on all transactions.
Electronic Payments: Zelle and Venmo payments are accepted upon request with no additional fee.
No Checks: Not accepted.
Invoices: An invoice will be provided for all transactions.

All sales and services provided by CCSS are final and non-refundable. This policy covers all our services, including escrow/loan issues, Did-Not-Sign (DNS) incidents, apostilles, rejections, translations, mobile travel fees, notarization fees, copy fees, certifications, shipping and handling, and any other services or products we offer.
Refunds are not available under any circumstances, including for rejected apostilles or related services. Refunds will only be considered if required by law and are granted at the sole discretion of CCSS management. In such rare cases, a $50 processing fee will apply, and any incurred expenses, such as shipping, processing, third-party fees, or handling fees for rejected apostilles, will be deducted from the refund amount.

Advance Notice and Same-Day Appointments: While we request an advance notice of at least 24 hours, we understand the urgency of your needs and can accommodate same-day appointments in most cases.
Mobile Notary Travel Fee: We charge a flat-rate travel fee, which is determined based on timing and distance. This fee ensures our notaries are promptly available to meet your needs, regardless of your location.
Signings in Challenging Circumstances: Additional fees may apply for signings in remote areas or under extreme circumstances, such as rush jobs, long waiting times, inclement weather, and long distances.
Rush Fees: For same-day or rush services, applicable rush fees will be charged to facilitate expedited processing.
After-Hours, Weekend, and Holiday Services: To offer our clients the utmost convenience, we provide services after 4:00 p.m. daily, on weekends, and holidays. Nominal 'after-hours,' 'weekend,' and 'holiday' service charges apply.
Notarization Fees: Notarization fees are regulated by each state. In Texas, for instance, the Secretary of State sets specific fees for notarial acts. Please be aware that notarization fees vary by state (e.g., California's state-regulated fees are $15 per stamp).
Signing Packages: Real Estate Closings and Trust/Estate Planning Packets are priced as flat-rate services. For a quote tailored to your specific needs, please contact us at orders@ccsstexas.com.

The full fee remains payable and non-refundable if notarizations cannot be conducted due to issues like an uncooperative signer, insufficient or invalid identification, or lack of comprehension/mental capacity by the principal.
Rectifications for errors or omissions due to Notary oversight will be provided at no additional cost. Notaries possess a bond and maintain Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance.

In the rare event of a Notary error, such as missing stamps or signatures, or omitted notarial verbiage, we will provide document rectifications at no additional charge.
Service Provision: Our Apostille services are tailored for clients requiring official authentication of documents for international use. We handle each case with expertise and diligence to ensure compliance with the necessary requirements.
Certified Translation Services: For Apostille clients, we offer Certified Translation services through carefully chosen local partners. This ensures the highest level of accuracy and service quality. Our partners are certified experts committed to facilitating smooth processing with the Secretary of State or relevant government agencies.
Guarantee and Limitations: While we strive for the successful processing of documents with the Issuing Authority (e.g., Secretary of State, Department of State) or any other relevant government agency, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, as these processes are beyond our direct control. Apostille processing is subject to the approval of these authorities, and the decision to issue an Apostille is entirely at their discretion. CCSS cannot guarantee the acceptance of any document for Apostille by these agencies, and the outcome of the Apostille process is beyond our control. Our team’s expertise is focused on minimizing the likelihood of rejections, but we cannot assume responsibility for decisions made by these authorities.

Shipping Responsibility: We carefully package and prepare your documents for shipment. However, once the documents are with the carrier, we are not liable for any loss or damage. We suggest choosing suitable shipping options and insurance to safeguard your documents during transit.
Shipping Labels: Shipping labels are provided only to clients using our apostille services. These labels ensure the secure and efficient delivery of your documents throughout the authentication process.
Expertise and Responsibility: Our team is highly trained, experienced, and knowledgeable in Apostille procedures. We are Certified Notary Signing Agents by the NNA and take great care in handling your documents. While we strive to ensure a smooth and successful process, we cannot be held responsible for rejections by the Issuing Authority or any government agency. Our focus is on maximizing the chances of successful processing, but we cannot guarantee outcomes that are ultimately determined by these entities.

The full fee is expected and non-negotiable in cases where the notary is unable to perform due to an unwilling signer, inadequate or invalid ID, or if the principal lacks the mental capacity to authorize the notarization.
